Meanwhile, Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) has celebrated its first year under the leadership of Dr. Lokesh M. The corporation has achieved various milestones, including increased ridership, implementation of a promotion policy, a new co-branded Metro Card featuring the Chandrayaan-3 emblem, and various initiatives like the introduction of UPI payments at ticket counters, increased non-fare box revenue, internship programs, free physiotherapy consultations, and the registration of the NMRC logo trademark.
NMRC's Board also approved the Detailed Project Reports for two new metro line extensions: one from Sector-142 to Botanical Garden and another from Sector-51 to KP-V.
