Minister ML Khattar thanked the Prime Minister for the new line, highlighting its importance for Faridabad's development and connectivity. He also announced that the Prime Minister would approve the connection of Gurgaon to Faridabad via Metro. Separately, the Principal Chief Engineer of Kolkata Metro has floated a tender for the civil construction of an underground extension to Kolkata Metro Line-4 from Biman Bandar (Kolkata Airport) to Birati. This 3.59 km extension, part of the yellow line's expansion to Barasat, involves constructing two underground stations (Birati and Michael Nagar) and installing track systems, E&M systems, and other infrastructure within the tunnel.

Haryana ke Chief Minister ML Khattar ne Prime Minister ko is new line ke liye thank you bola hai, aur Faridabad ke development aur connectivity ke liye iski importance batayi hai. Unhone yeh bhi announce kiya hai ki Prime Minister Gurgaon ko Faridabad se Metro se connect karne ki approval denge. Alag se, Kolkata Metro ke Principal Chief Engineer ne Kolkata Metro Line-4 ke Biman Bandar (Kolkata Airport) se Birati tak underground extension ke civil construction ka tender float kiya hai. Yeh 3.59 km ka extension, yellow line ke Barasat tak expansion ka part hai, jisme do underground stations (Birati aur Michael Nagar) banaane aur tunnel ke andar track systems, E&M systems aur other infrastructure install karna shamil hai.
