quick thinking, steered the vehicle into a railway overhead pole. The incident resulted in the complete destruction of the truck and the overhead pole. Following the accident, the truck driver fled the scene. Witnesses stated that the truck's brakes failed, causing it to collide with the pole, averting a potentially fatal accident. Several vehicles and pedestrians were present at the crossing due to its closure. The RPF is investigating the incident.
