The Western Railway received Rs 8,587 crore for its network in Gujarat, an increase from the average annual outlay between 2009 and 2014. New Delhi-Mumbai route ki speed ko 160-200 kmph tak badhane ke liye Rs 2662 crore allocate kiya gaya hai, jiska target dono shahron ke beech 12 ghante ki travel time hai. Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project ko interim budget mein Rs 25,000 crore mile hain.
