The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has started trial runs of the Rapid Rail from Sahibabad to Ashok Nagar station in Delhi, marking a significant step towards building India's first Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS). train operates between Meerut South and Sahibabad, covering a distance of approximately 12 kilometers. The trial run on the Sahibabad-New Ashok Nagar section marks the train's entry into Delhi and its integration with the already operational Sahibabad-Meerut South section. The trial run, supervised by NCRTC's Managing Director (MD) Shalabh Goyal and other senior officials, focused on assessing the strength of the civil structure and evaluating the integration of the train with various subsystems. The next few months will involve comprehensive trial runs, including high-speed tests. The 12 km Sahibabad-New Ashok Nagar section includes two RRTS stations, Anand Vihar and New Ashok Nagar, connecting passengers from New Ashok Nagar to Meerut South and vice versa within 40 minutes. Anand Vihar RRTS station is strategically located, connecting with two metro lines, the Anand Vihar railway station, and two ISBTs, making it a major passenger transit hub. To enhance connectivity, NCRTC is seamlessly integrating the station with various modes of transportation. New Ashok Nagar RRTS station, situated within 100 meters of the New Ashok Nagar metro station, will be connected through a foot over bridge (FOB). Two additional FOBs are being constructed towards Chilla village and Mayur Vihar extension, enhancing access for residents. NCRTC recently won top honors at the UIC Sustainability Impact Awards 2024 in Germany for its commitment to seamless connectivity. The operational section of the RRTS will now extend to 54 kilometers with 11 RRTS stations, including three in the Delhi section: New Ashok Nagar, Anand Vihar, and Sarai Kale Khan.

NCRTC ne Delhi ke Ashok Nagar station tak Sahibabad se Rapid Rail ka trial run shuru kar diya hai. Ye India ka pehla Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) banne ki taraf ek bada kadam hai. Shanivaar ko pehli Namo Bharat train Delhi ke New Ashok Nagar station par pahunchi. Is samay,...

Sahibabad-New Ashok Nagar section par trial run shuru hone se, train ab Delhi mein pravesh kar chuki hai aur yeh pehle se chal rahe Sahibabad-Meerut South section se connect ho chuka hai. NCRTC ke MD Shalabh Goyal aur dusre senior officers ke supervision mein, is trial run mein civil structure ki strength ka jaanch kiya gaya aur train ko various subsystems ke saath integrate karne ki evaluation ki gayi. Aage aane wale kuchh mahino mein, high-speed tests sahit comprehensive trial runs ki plan hai. 12 km Sahibabad-New Ashok Nagar section mein do RRTS stations hain, Anand Vihar aur New Ashok Nagar, jo New Ashok Nagar se Meerut South aur usse ulta 40 minutes mein connect karte hain. Anand Vihar RRTS station bahut strategical location par hai, jo do metro lines, Anand Vihar railway station, aur do ISBTs se connect hai, isse ek major passenger transit hub banata hai. Connectivity ko better banane ke liye, NCRTC station ko various modes of transport se integrate kar raha hai. New Ashok Nagar RRTS station, jo New Ashok Nagar metro station se 100 meters ki doori par hai, foot over bridge (FOB) se connect kiya jayega.
