Tatanagar five hours behind schedule. It was supposed to reach Howrah by 7:40 pm, but it didn't arrive even by midnight. The train fares are more than double that of ordinary trains, but the delays make the journey agonizing for passengers. Regular trains are also facing significant delays. The Titlagarh-Howrah Ispat Express, for example, was delayed for 2.5 hours at Jharsuguda and ended up being delayed by 8 hours in Tatanagar. The train's speed dropped to a mere 8 kilometers per hour between Sini and Tatanagar, covering 25 kilometers in 3 hours. This slow speed, coupled with the heat, caused immense discomfort to the passengers.
