Hi friends
As a rail fan i wanted to ask your suggestion before tweet to to ministry of railways whether the time has came to change the pattern of all Rajdhani Express. I mean to say Rajdhani Express to be provided to all the state capital to connect with New Delhi but the coach composition is to be upgraded with only 2 Tier & 1 Tier Coaches and with this every state capital should be provided Humsafar Express as Second Rajdhani which should be of only 3 Tier Coaches. One should depart at morning and other should be departed at night.

It will fill as now people prefer good service instead of money. It can be of 18 coaches train and will have option to increase the coaches if needed.
Coincidentally, I just posted this comment few minutes ago on the SWR RF club with regard to the MoS Railway min's plan to start another Rajdhani to Bangalore passing thru Karnataka instead of AP and Telangana....
"What purpose does a Rajdhani serve? Other than being a symbol of pride... A train for the elite who couldn't afford the airfare to travel by flight.
Why don't they run a SF train with AC+ non AC coaches which can serve all sections of society? Humsafar (with SL coaches), Duronto (with SL coaches) are also good...

Sir, yahan 2a aur 1a gin- chun ke 2-3 rajdhani hi bhar pa rahi hai like MMCT, PNBE, HWH, DBRG. Baaki mein almost 30% seats khali jaati hai. Kahan aap 18 coacher 1a-2a rajdhani ki baat kar rahe ho.
Sir i am also just saying. Kuan sa meri baaton pe railway amal kar lega. It was just a suggestion. But i think it will be a good hit if it is speeded up and reach destination early.
Not feasible to give separate HS as second rajdhani to every state due to track congestion and lack of prime slots available. Plus rake utilisation is doubtful...
