Agree
Bhojpuri and German have same origin
Kannada and Marathi don't have the same origin

Sounds shocking right? Despite the fact that Germany and Bihar are thousands of kilometres away and Karnataka and Maharashtra literally border each other.

But this is true and this is how languages work, if you dig it deep you'll see the beauty of Indian languages and how diverse our country actually is!

Hindi imposition has became soo rampant that some people have lost their mind. Few kiddos mention that "aaj tak nahi pata chala kiski language hai Urdu/I never knew whose mother tongue is Urdu" But the same low iq edgy teenagers won't be able to tell that whose mother tongue is Hindi?? Literally no one's. North West UP speaks Khari Boli, South West UP speaks Braj Bhasha, Central UP speaks Awadhi, East UP speaks Bhojpuri

I'm from UP, none of my grandparents natively spoke Hindi. They spoke languages like Awadhi, Bhojpuri, Magahi, Bundeli etc. But those languages are treated as "third class uneducated languages" In their own native land thanks to Hindi imposition.

My language was never Hindi, it is not Hindi and it'll never be Hindi.

The Indian government needs to stop with this Hindi imposition.

And you know the hindi that is being shoved down our throats that isn't even pure hindi, but an amalgamation of hindi and urdu popularly known as hindustani.

If someone speaks absolute chaste hindi, I promise you more than half of these hindi language champions would be struggling to follow what was been spoken. As a matter of fact being a bengali I will be able to decipher and interpret it better as they are sister languages derived from Sanskrit, and unlike hindi Bangla didn't get corrupted to such an extent.

How many of these hindi linguist champions still refer to water as 'Jal' and not 'Paani' ?
How many use 'Vibhasta' instead of 'Mazburi' or 'Prateeksha' instead of 'Intezaar' ?

Look, I am not against you promoting hindi languages but every region in the length and breadth of these great country has a distinct language and dialect of it's own. Like I said, our education particularly higher education is fully done in the English language thus it has become the de-facto official language ofour country. Does that represent a colonial hangover? Maybe, but it is what it is...

They should make an effort to reply in both the languages particularly in the southern states and states like West Bengal, Odisha etc, Or atleast do the courtesy of replying the question in the language in which it is asked!

Anyways I don't want to stir up the hornet's nest further by poking into the issue, what more can I add, it is what it is...

Actually the pure Hindi you're talking about is not Hindi but Aprambhasha

The history of Hindi is as follows.

Hindustani a language which came in existence during Mughals due to Persian/Arabic/Turkic influences

and adaptations which was mixed with native Indian language (Khari Boli/Braj Bhasha) located around Agra-Delhi area.

Later during colonial era, Hindustani was divided into two languages Hindi and Urdu.

Hindi had to be written in Devanagri script
Urdu in Perso-Arabic.
But in the end both of these languages are basically the same if you don't count scripts in it.

What's ironical is the same morons who hate Mughals, love Hindi. A language which came into existence thanks to them.

These idiots haven't learnt from Sri Lanka-Tamil and Pakistan-Bengali civil war and want to impose Hindi all over India.

Let people speak what they want and what is their language. What does a Mizo, a Tamil and a Kashmiri have in common except nation? Nothing

If you force things down people's throat, nation will head towards balkanization and nothing else.

That's why South Indians especially from Tamilnadu have negative idea on Hindi language. Furthermore our state (Tamilnadu) follows only Two language formula (Tamil and English) only. Mostly Tamil folks will look down anyone who speaks Hindi with them
.But still if you want to learn Hindi, there is an organisation called "Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha" which arranges exams from Basic to Advanced levels. It was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi Ji in 1918. It is located at T Nagar.
