Journey on the WAP1-hauled Bombay Rajdhani: BCT to NDLS - Part 2 (August 1995) : This video presents the journey from Ratlam to New Delhi. With a Ghaziabad WAP1 in charge, the train simply let loose and covered the Ratlam-Mathura section in just 6 hrs 3 mts with a top speed of 130 kmph. It suffered in the graveyard section after that and took 2 hrs 20 mts from Mathura to New Delhi, though it hit 130kmph in quite a few patches. Be sure to enjoy the following:

For those who might not have seen my journey on the double-headed ICF Rajdhani in 1995. Here is part 1 from BCT till RTM.

This was my last journey on the double-headed Bombay Rajdhani and in ICF avatar. It was also my first with Pushkar Apte who I have known since 1989. We couldn't have asked for a better start - Bombay Central to Vadodara in 4 hours 21 minutes non-stop; not a single unscheduled halt. Now, THAT'S priority! It was completely electrified. However, the WCAM1 loco had an MPS of 100 and Rajdhani required 120 between Virar and Godhra. So, diesels were employed until the WCAM2 was introduced.
