I checked availability in 12394/Sampoorna Kranti SF Express for entire April month. And found 100+ WL only on

And by reaching Patna early morning will make simple for you to catch bus for your CNDI/ Chandi (Nalanda), which is 47 KMs.

Don't prefer 14056 or any other SF for Delhi-Patna. They all gets late by 2-3 hours from POOR ALD division.
For Delhi-to-Patna, I trust on Punctuality only on below 5 classic trains :-
1) 12310/New Delhi-Rajendra Nagar Patna Rajdhani Express
2) 12424/New Delhi - Dibrugarh Town Rajdhani Express
3) 12306/New Delhi - Howrah Rajdhani Express (via Patna)
4) 12570/Anand Vihar - Jaynagar Garib Rath Express
5) 12394/New Delhi - Rajendra Nagar Patna Sampoorna Kranti SF Express
