On Monday, officials inspected and finalized the preparations for the initial trial run, during which a train loaded with rails will be used to test the track and bridges. Double tracks will be laid on each bridge, with the project expected to be fully operational in the coming days. The foundation stone for this joint venture between the Haryana Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation and the state and central governments was laid by the then Chief Minister, Manohar Lal, in 2019.
