Two other women passengers assisted her with the delivery. Upon arrival at the station, the station manager alerted the railway hospital and RPF, who provided medical care and escorted the mother and child to the Chakradharpur Railway Hospital. Both the mother and baby are currently receiving treatment and are reported to be healthy.
