highlighted the need for road tarring in front of the station, LED display boards to inform passengers about coach positions, and escalators and lifts in the new food overbridge. He also requested the construction of a ramp for differently-abled passengers to access platform 1 within two months. A meeting will be held in early September with senior railway officials, including the Divisional Manager, to discuss the development of Kottayam and other railway stations. George also mentioned his plans to submit a proposal for an intercity express train between Kottayam and Erode. He also intends to request the authorities to allow stops for the Malabar Express and Vanchinad Express trains at Ettumanur station, and for more trains to stop at Vaikom Road station.

Unhone yeh bhi kaha ki differently-abled passengers ko platform 1 tak jaane ke liye ramp banaaya jaaye, aur yeh do mahine ke andar ban jaaye. September ke shuruat mein senior railway officials, including Divisional Manager, ke saath Kottayam aur dusre railway stations ke development ke baare mein baat karne ke liye meeting hogi. George ne yeh bhi bataya ki woh Kottayam aur Erode ke beech intercity express train ke liye proposal de rahe hain. Unhone authorities se request ki hai ki Malabar Express aur Vanchinad Express trains ko Ettumanur station par rukne ki permission de di jaaye, aur Vaikom Road station par aur trains rokne ki request bhi ki hai.
