Its a wrong update. Pre Independence 1/2 Darjeeling Mail ex SDAH via East Bengal (Bangladesh) ceased in 1947 as complete BG track till Haldibari (exclusive) gone to Pakistan. You will not find any Darjeeling Mail in 1957 (attached screenshot which is available at IRFCA Site). In Jan 26 1950, Assam Link created by linking 103/4 Link Exp (KIR-SGUJ) MG at Manihari Ghat by Boat/Steamer ex Sankrigali to utilize HWH-Sahibganj BG by North Bengal Exp!!
