Trisulia. The tender was floated on July 18, with bids opening on September 2 and a pre-bid meeting scheduled for August 2. The contract period for the coaches is three years, with the prototype being delivered within two years and the remaining coaches delivered in phases within the next year. Earlier this month, SYSTRA MVA Consulting (India) was awarded the contract for Detailed Design Consultant (DDC) for Bhubaneswar Metro Phase 1 project. This includes finalising design standards for 26.04 km Bhubaneswar Metro Line-1, which will connect Biju Patnaik Airport to Trisulia Square via 20 elevated stations. The DMRC invited bids for the consultancy contract in May 2024, with a 36-month contract duration and an estimated cost of Rs. 97.02 lakh (excluding GST). SYSTRA was the only bidder, making them the automatic frontrunner for the contract. Odisha’s former Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik, laid the foundation stone for the project on January 1, 2024, with the Bhubaneswar Metro Rail Corporation (BMRC) investing Rs 6,255 crore in the first phase. The project is expected to be completed within four years.

Coaches ke liye contract period 3 saal ka hai, prototype 2 saal mein deliver hoga aur baaki coaches agle ek saal mein phases mein deliver kiye jayenge. Is month ke shuru mein, SYSTRA MVA Consulting (India) ko Bhubaneswar Metro Phase 1 project ke liye Detailed Design Consultant (DDC) ka contract award kiya gaya tha. Isme 26.04 km Bhubaneswar Metro Line-1 ke liye design standards finalise karna hai, jo ki Biju Patnaik Airport ko 20 elevated stations ke saath Trisulia Square se connect karega. DMRC ne May 2024 mein consultancy contract ke liye bids maangi thi, 36 month ka contract period aur Rs. 97.02 lakh ka estimated cost (GST excluded) tha. SYSTRA hi ekla bidder tha, jisse woh automatically contract ke liye frontrunner ban gaya. Odisha ke pehle Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik ne 1 January, 2024 ko project ka foundation stone rakha tha, Bhubaneswar Metro Rail Corporation (BMRC) ne pehle phase mein Rs 6,255 crore invest kiye hain.
