The Indian Railways' recent shift towards prioritizing air-conditioned coaches in most trains, even in daytime services, has been criticized for its high fares and limited availability of non-air-conditioned options. This prioritization, despite India being a developing country, is seen as a deliberate move to portray a false image of development. Examples...

are cited where cheaper and more accessible passenger trains have been discontinued or replaced by more expensive air-conditioned alternatives, impacting the affordability of travel for the common man. This practice is seen as prioritizing profit over the needs of the common people and neglecting the vital role trains play as the lifeline of the country. Further issues include the reduced frequency of local trains, impacting commutes and tourism, and the lack of connectivity to certain locations due to discontinued train routes, leaving travelers with limited and more expensive options. bhi dekha ja raha hai, jabki India abhi bhi developing country hai. Kuchh examples diye ja rahe hain jahaan pehle se chalne wali sasta aur aasan passenger trains ko discontinue kar diya gaya hai ya unhe expensive AC alternatives se replace kar diya gaya hai, jo ki common man ke liye travel afford karne ko mushkil bana deta hai. Is practice ko common people ki needs se zyada profit par focus karne wala aur country ki lifeline trains ke role ko neglect karne wala dikha ja raha hai. Iske alag se, local trains ki frequency bhi kam ho gai hai, jisse commutes aur tourism par asar pad raha hai. Aur bhi kai train routes discontinue ho gaye hain, jisse kuchh jagah tak pahunchna mushkil ho gaya hai, aur travelers ko limited aur expensive options se guzarna pad raha hai. Ye sab issues yeh dikhata hain ki Indian Railways ko common man ki affordability aur accessibility ki problems par dhyan dene ki jarurat hai.
