The Indian Railways will soon implement an automated signaling system on the Ernakulam-Shornur track, enabling faster train speeds. While the recent railway budget did not allocate more trains, it did increase funding for infrastructure development. The Thiruvananthapuram division has achieved speeds between 90 and 110 km/h on most tracks, thanks to...

track straightening projects. 15 Amrit Bharat stations, including Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam, will be completed this year. Arrangements for special trains during the Sabarimala pilgrimage season have been finalized. Kerala received a relatively smaller allocation in the railway budget compared to neighboring states. Despite this, the state's allocation has increased compared to the previous government. Projects under consideration include the Nemom coaching depot, automatic signaling systems, Kollam MEMU shed, and track straightening. Two potential routes are being considered for the Sabari rail line: Angamali-Erumeli and Chengannur-Pamba. A feasibility study will determine the optimal route. The state is also expecting a share of the 2500 general coaches added this year and another 10,000 coaches to be manufactured in the next two years. Railway authorities are seeking full cooperation from the state government for development projects.

km/h ki speed aa rahi hai, kyuki tracks seedhe kiye gaye hain. 15 Amrit Bharat stations ban rahe hain, jisme Thiruvananthapuram aur Kollam bhi hain, aur yeh sab is saal complete ho jaayenge. Sabarimala pilgrimage season ke liye special trains ke arrangements bhi ho gaye hain. Kerala ko railway budget mein apne neighbour states ki comparison mein thoda kam paisa mila hai. Phir bhi, state ka allocation pehle ki government se zyada hai. Kuch projects pe kaam chal raha hai, jaise ki Nemom coaching depot, automatic signaling systems, Kollam MEMU shed, aur tracks seedhe karna. Sabari rail line ke liye do possible routes hain: Angamali-Erumeli aur Chengannur-Pamba. Feasibility study ke baad sabse accha route select kiya jaayega. State ko is saal ke 2500 general coaches mein se bhi kuchh milne ki ummeed hai, aur aagle do saalon mein 10,000 aur coaches banne waale hain. Railway authorities state government se development projects ke liye full cooperation chahte hain.
