This is something which was expected.
If You checkout the satellite view of dehradun haridwar track..U will get to know the forest area..
As we leave DDN..hardly after 6-7 km forest area starts and goes upto Doiwala..and after Doiwala, most part of route is through forests.
I dont think it would be possible to run train at 100 kmph and suddenly reduce the speed...

Uttarakhand govt. koi initiative nahi leti hai railway ke liye.. many proposals have been sent to government but thise proposals are not forwarded.
Connectivity is very very poor from Ddn to other cities..though It is the EDUCATION HUB..
