conversion and now it will be layed officially by IR ofcls before Rail board means IR ofcls are planning to make a project for electrification of JBP-BTC-G new BG line along with BG conversion and the ALD HQ of electrification dept. ordered JBP electrification dept. an order to start making a project report on electrification of JBP-G new BG route and send it asap to Rail board and try to start the work along with BG conversion work so hope by Sept. mid/end rail board will approve electrification work of JBP-G BG line and then fund will b allocated in the next Rail budget and work will start asap so in future around 2019/2020 JBP div. will not have a single diesel line either on ET/KTE side or on BTC side so hope for the best and happy to see that long discussed issue of railfans are going to be ofcly announced as a project.

the Forest dept. gave the first NOC of forest land which comes on NIR-BTC section and soon second and final NOC will b issued by Forest dept. and As per IR n SECR full projct between JBP-BTC BG will b completed within 1 yr or by 2017 beginning as NOC is issued and all bridge works has been complted on JBP-NIR-BTC section and now Earthwork is remaining so hope we can travel in BG trains on JBP-NIR-BTC BG section by 2017 so hope for the best and again its a very happy news for all railfans n passegrs

Yesterday travelled by the HISTORICAL, the ROYAL, QUEEN of NG SATPURA EXP..
1. Arrived NIR jn at 15:15. Reached ticket counter no rush observed. In fact I don't have to wait for a single person.55 rs fare NIR to JBP.
2. Entered at PF 3, loco changed some ZDM 4a to another ZDM 4a #235. Boarded on a coach adjacent to FC though seats were occupied but I did not cared, NG can be enjoyed more on gate. Please be careful while travelling near gate.

B/w NIR to Pindrai subgrade laid parallel to existing track.
4. Pindrai to ghusore no works observed. May be a new alignment will exist.
5. Deep cuts are prepared where required I.e. The most time consuming and expensive task.
6. Almost all the bridges are complete or about to complete. Most of the incomplete bridges have slab to cast that's it. Abutment and Piers are already built.
7. Observed upto 14 degree curve on NG. Degree of curve reduced for BG. Thus new alignment taking place.
8. BUQ PF and station building work on full swing.
9. Land levelled for new station at Sukari Mangla.
10. After Jamtara no BG subgrade seen perhaps After BG Gwarighat will be removed as no signs of BG seen.
Conclusion- SECR was trying to consume it's time and fund where work could be done without forest clearence. The cleared section is almost done except ballast and tracks.
Extra note- MFR NIR section is also on full swing.
