travel were detected, resulting in the collection of over ₹34.06 crore in fares and penalties from offenders. Compared to the same period last year, this represents a 0.51% increase in detected cases and a 0.82% increase in revenue. During the current financial year (2024-25), three surprise ticket checking drives were conducted between April and August with the assistance of railway magistrates to crack down on unauthorized travel. The magistrates filed cases against 167 individuals and imposed fines on 161 for violating railway regulations. These fines included fares, penalties, and government charges. The total amount collected from these three campaigns was ₹10.58 crore. Passengers traveling without proper tickets or exceeding their authorized travel distance are subject to additional charges and fares. Failure to pay the penalty when demanded constitutes a default.

Pichhle saal ke same time period se compare karein toh yeh 0.51% zyada cases aur 0.82% zyada revenue hai. Chalte saal (2024-25) mein, April aur August ke beech, railway magistrates ki help se unauthorized travel ko rokne ke liye 3 surprise ticket checking drives ki gayi. Magistrates ne 167 individuals pe case file kiya aur 161 pe railway rules violate karne ke liye fine lagaaya. Is fine mein fares, penalties aur government charges shamil hain. Teenon drives se ₹10.58 crore collect kiye gaye. Bina proper ticket ke travel karne ya authorized distance se zyada travel karne pe additional charges aur fares lag sakte hain. Agar koi passenger penalty nahi deta hai ya deta hai to default kiya jaayega.
