Metro head honcho inspects phase II on NHs, pores over proposals with experts

The Hyderabad Airport Metro Ltd (HAML) is planning to construct three new Metro Phase-II corridors: Miyapur-Patancheru, LB Nagar-Hayatnagar, and Mailardevpally-Aramghar-New High Court spur line. built as an extension of the existing Metro viaduct and will be located in the central median except for the section between Chintalkunta and Hayatnagar, where it will be on the left side of the service road. To avoid conflicts, engineering drawings will be reconciled, and some Metro station locations will be adjusted for seamless access across flyovers. The Miyapur-Patancheru corridor (around 13 km) will be built in the central median except at the BHEL Junction. Due to a planned 1.2 km flyover at Gangaram, HAML and NH authorities will explore a joint construction of a double-decker flyover-cum-Metro viaduct. The Mailardevpally-Aramghar-New High Court spur line (over five km) will start at the Mailardevpally Junction and will be initially on the left side of the PVNR Expressway at Aramghar. It will then move to the right side between the PVNR Expressway and the Agriculture University flyover.
