Its around Diwali time so difficult to clear... Since Kota is hardly is 6hrs run from Delhi better go there and take train for faster and easy options, Rajdhani also currently tikcets available.

Yes can be tried, but it's bookings haven't opened up yet.
Uske chakkar mein rukega toh jahaan seats hai woh bhi haath se chali jayegi.
Better to have a backup than bet it all on a Weekly.
First preference would be to book a seat on regular trains from Delhi.

Last year same thing happened in Pune. CR cancelled many Weeklies "due to NI Work" and then ran Diwali Special Trains on the same slot ЁЯШВ
Many of my friends got stuck due to that, I had the brains to book Deccan Queen+ CSMT Rajdhani combo well in Advance. I saw people struggling at Expressway traffic from my Vistadome Coach.
Jo uss din shaam ko gaye the woh kahi nahi Jaa paaye due to rush.
