Actually, it is not Sarai Ghat, it should be Saraighat. SARAIGHAT is the name of the famous battle field on the bank of River Brahmaputra near Guwahati, where the Assamese soldiers under the Great General Lachit Barphukan defeated the Mughals in 1671 AD. This battle has significance as after this battle, Mughals never invaded Assam. So, now when the people in Assam see this train, it reminds them about that famous battle.
