Agreed. What I am actually implying is that if the all the trains in the gang are regularly arriving BT at any station then why not just adjust the slots according to that. If slots in NCR are not available then the trains can depart late from HWH/SDAH or their other respective origins and then depart from DDU on the same NCR slot as earlier, that way they would not have to block a Pf. at a particular Railway station. And regarding NDLS 5-10 mins BT arrival is understandable, but Duronto arriving 30 mins BT and then blocking a Pf. for 40-50 mins is quite unnecessary for a passing train in my opinion. Currently all Rajs take 4 hr 40 mins to 4 hr 55 mins, so there is no requirement to give some of them 5 hr 25 mins for the same stretch, 5 hr is more than enough to...
more... be honest. NCR actually has to push up their schedule a bit, atleast for the Raj gang. Even in NDLS-DDU section the gang arrives DDU close to 20/30 mins BT and then keep blocking Pfs for a long time.
