I have nothing against any train to Bangalore. But the kind of extension or routes make one feel harassed while travelling.
For example, Kongu was not meant for Bangalore passengers. It is meant for West TN passengers to travel to Guntakal, Hyderabad and beyond. Earlier it was occupying high traffic platform at SBC. Now that anamoly is rectified.
Similarly, if LTT CBE is to run for passengers other than Bangalore, why can't it pass through KJM, saving precious 3-4 hours of journey time? Just because it has to enter SBC and...
more... act as a ONT for SBC CBE passengers, it is crawling daily for hours in DMM SBC sector. If you say LTT CBE is for Bangalore passengers, why it is not halting at Doddaballapura, Yelahanka? Anyway it is the slowest train in this section.
If MAS SSPN is meant for MAS SBC passengers, then it should run just like that. No need to run up to SSPN.
My idea to link Chikkaballapur to DMM line is to free up some capacity in this congested stretch. Just because of this constraint, smartly SR and SCR have diverted 4 days a week NCJ CSTM via KPD, Madanapalle completely avoiding SWR areas. Now it is a preferred train in that route.
When Chalukya was extended, no one thought that it will block the platforms at YPR for 3 hours daily during morning peak hours. As chalukya is out of bounds for Bangalore to Mumbai passengers, let it go via BYPL, BAND BAW. For Bangalore, we should get a new SF to Mumbai.
Hope I am clear
