As no train undergoes loco change at BPQ it has to runn with Deiesl engines till BZA so out of 1445kms its mandate to run with Alcos for 989Kms
Prev it used to have Loco change at BZA that to used to run with single alco,for easy operations and under new rule to run some min no of trains to have diesel links under electric tracks this is made to give Alco end to end
For SF status and easy accelaration it is given Twin alcos.
