Even in Mumbai local trains have derailed for your information. I hope you are aware of that fact. The blogger is very correct in saying SBC lacks proper public transportation. Please try travelling from Hebbal to Bellandur in BMTC during peak hours , It will eat 2 hours of your time for travelling 24 kms . up and down journey will eat 4 hrs . DEMU covers the same distance in just 25 minutes, Im on a deputation in chennai now. i travel 78 kms day in just 3 hrs . How is that !!! .. this is what called as proper and cheap public transportation... I took season ticket for 3 months , it was just 540 rs. Per day up and down ticket is just 6 rs for 80 kms, same in SBC bus pass is 1000 rs per month for ordinary , its 30rs a...

I am totally with him for CRS in Bengaluru, which needs to on the line of other metros for transport. Even i provided my inputs to praja.in who are actively participating in the project. MRTS and Mumbai suburban was just comparison between to running locals, nothing serious competition between cities make them grow faster.

I personally feel other state politicians are more active and rail enthusiastic. Sbc being so fast developing city of India. Locals/MEMU/DEMU/DMU should have been started by a decade ago. No govt shown interest in it, which is the prob behind implementing it.

These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
