The historical Munger, is easily my favourite city in Bihar. It's twin city Jamalpur is major railhead, and an important junction. The Jamalpur Workshop was built by the Britishers, and still exists in the service of the nation today...
Presenting the first connection between Jamalpur and Kanyakumari, the trains passes through Sultanganj, Bihar's third largest city Bhagalpur upcomes next, before venturing into Jharkhand briefly only to go to West Bengal next. At Rampurhat, the train reverses direction to take the RPH-DMKA-JSME line to Jasidih. Baba Baidyanath and Baba Bashukinath temple both fall, in the line's direction. At Jasidih the train reverses direction, goes to Madhupur, Chittaranjan before entering into Dhanbad. Loco change occurs at Dhanbad rather Jasidih because of both practicality and

ease of loco change(Loco Change is difficult and takes a long time at JSME).
From Dhanbad to Bokaro and then back to bengal at Purulia, before venturing into TATA. The train undergoes a reversal at Tata to go via another train scarce route via Chaibasa. Orissa follows next with Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road and Brahmapur follow and exit Orissa and enter Andhra Pradesh. Andhra's largest city Vishakapatnam greets us with a loco change. We then encounter the mighty Godavari between Rajahmundry and Kovvur and enter AP's second largest city and South India's busiest railway station Vijayawada Junction.
Crossing over the Krishna next, we head for Tamil Nadu. Capital of Tamil Nadu and South India's largest city Chennai greeting with open arms at 1:00AM. With a loco change and a reversal we go straight into Tamil Nadu's heart with Villupuram and Tiruchchirappali.
Further heading south we encounter the vibrant city of Madurai, before going to the southern tip of India, Kanyakumari via Nagercoil.
Please rate and flag this train, and please be kind enough to drop off a reason for red-flagging.
Thanks in advance!

I never skipped ASN. Asansol can't be skipped, Asansol is skipped by only by the HWH-RAJ & SDAH,HWH Durontos...My train is a mere express train man!
I only bypassed Asansol as Asansol is very busy at that time, SDAH-BUI,HWH-JBP,ASN-KGP Pax,ASN-JSME local, ASN-DHN pax, RNC-HWH Shatabdi, DHN-HWH Black Diamond....these are the trains at that time at that slot at Asansol.
Ok, let me explain my entire plan to you:-
LC
...
means Loco Change
RR means Rake Reversal
Plan 1:-
At first I took a very unconventional, but a long route via BGP-SBG-RPH....RR.....DMKA-DGHR-JSME.......RR----- MDP-CRJ-ASN....LR & RR.....DHN-BKSC-TATA......RR...........CBSA-CTC-BB S-VSKP-BZA-MAS-MDU-CAPE.
Member Soumya & Jayant Anand rightly fully pointed out, my route was flawed.
Someone, I don't remember who, chatted with me and asked me to take RPH-UDL-DGR-ASN route.....
This is how KIUL-MDP-JSME got rejected totally
Plan 2:-
ASN rejected do LC at DHN......still objected
Plan 3:-
BGP-SBJ-RPH-BHP-BWN....RR & LC.....DGR-ASN-PRR-KGP...RR....VSKP....MAS.....
Rejected by myself because of LC & RR required at extremely busy stations, practically difficult at that time.
Plan 4:-
Via HWH or DKAE-ANDUL-SRC..........rejected to clash in time slots with reallife trains.
Plan 5:-
Take ASN-PRR-KGP route...........rejected wanting to avoid either one of them KGP or ASN (I didn't know of satellite station Hijli then, it was only after going through member Brandon Buffard's IMG train)
Plan 6 & final plan:-
After learning about Hijli & I had already planned to go via DVD in favour of VSKP, I started to find out if ASN can be bypassed.......Then I found about the UDL-BBI-STN line, I shifted the.....LC.....to DHN, RR happened at DGR and I had managed to avoid two RR. This also boosted my net average speed upto 55kmph!
Now Problems if the train goes via ASN:-
1> Disturbs an already very busy station.
2> If it takes the route via Joychandipahar......may be slowed by the ASN-KGP passenger.
3> If it directly goes to DHN, will be slowed by the ASN-DHN pax.
This is how the final TT came into existence............
ASN pax can easily board at DGR/DHN, both are 50-60 Kms from ASN and transportation between them is superb...
Besides that let me try out atleast one unconventional route!

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
