Maybe those passengers were wrong but what does industrial cities like Bhilai,Raipur,Bilaspur etc offer tourists. To be honest I was scared of maoists too. Honestly I still don't believe Chattisgarh offers anything worthwhile for tourists.

Actually Bastar is Naxal hit area...Rest of CG is very safe ....and bilaspur bhilai raipur are not merely industrial cities.....here gardens, temples, shopping malls, water parks, restaurants, zoo, nearby waterfalls etc are available while industries are generally on outskirts or 10 to 20 km away from these cities.....better you once come CG and explore it ....

My friend malls, temples, restaurants, gardens, zoo etc I think every Indian town or city offers. Why would anyone come all the way to Chattisgarh for this. My personal opinion.

I have listened it from many people that CG cities can't provide above mentioned things ...so i cleared...however apart from them, some temples, waterfalls, national parks and sanctuaries are here which are unique and different from other present inside India.....similarly Mainpaat Hill station is another place which is like tibet inside India....CG has the largest tower of India in Kabeerdham district [Jaitstambha]....while if you want to see some ancient culture then visit Sirpur....here's chitrakot and teerathgarh waterfalls are eye catching....chitrakot is one of the largest waterfall of India........

These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
