Final route from PLK to BXM as per DPR :
PLK/Palia Kalan - Maleneya - Majhgain - Lodhpurwa - Nighasan - Singahi - BXM/Belrayan (5 new stations)
Total of 54.7Km new route. Rest BXM to BRK GC.

Total of 218.6Km rail line in which 163.9 will be gauge converted and 54.7Km new line will be constructed. Gauge conversion will happen between MLN/Mailani to PLK/Palia Kalan (30.1Km) and BXM/Belrayan to BRK/Bahraich (133.8Km) moreover new line of 54.7Km will be constructed between PLK/Palia Kalan and BXM/Belrayan which will have 5 new stations (Maleneya - Majhgain - Lodhpurwa - Nighasan - Singahi) including 7 major bridges (First four between Majhgain and Lodhpurwa, first bridge at 17.5Km second bridge at 18.5Km third bridge at 22.2Km and fourth bridge at 24.34Km) rest two bridge will be constructed between Nighasan and Singahi at 41.22Km and 46.56Km respectively however last bridge (seventh bridge) will be constructed at 48.15Km between Singahi and BXM/Belrayan.

No news on Bahraich-Jarwal Road Rail Link as of now however BRK to LKO/LJN will start soon as NER is working on RRI at GD post which pf 4 and 5 will be linked to main line (GKP-LKO/LJN)

RRI is not Rahuri Railway Station located in Maharashtra.

RRI means Route Relay Interlocking is the system used in large and busy stations that have to handle high volumes of train movements. Its a type of electrically operated interlocking. Once RRI is operational Bahraich - Gonda line will be connected with Lucknow (Delhi–Barauni main line) then only any train coming from or going to Bahraich from or to Gonda can can either go Lucknow or Gorakhpur. Hope its clear now.

As on date Bahraich broad gauge line is connected to Gonda only so RRI is playing vital role to get Bahraich connected with rest of the IR route. Until RRI is not completed none of the train, coming from Bahraich, will be able to go any where. Post RRI completion any train comes from Bahraich have to go to Gonda only then any where else. As on date there is no plan to construct new line between Bahraich and Jarwal road so people of Bahraich have to come to Gonda only as they don't have any other choice to go to Lucknow by train.

No news for newly inaugurated DAL/Daliganj - STP/Sitapur Junction section. It's already been sanctioned in 2018 budget and tender also been awarded to LASA but no official news yet. Little progress seen on said section like pole's, construction of sub station etc.
