As per info what I got to know is they will be operating HYB VSG as usual and just the slip portion will be discontinued and will run as 2 independent rakes but still no official PR regarding 17021.
We can even expect discontinuation of 17021/22 and a dedicated tri-weekly as 17039/40

Maybe after completing Vasco Kulem doubling they will increase 17039/40 frequency to tri weekly till then 17021/22 may continue but definitely both 17039/40 and 17021/22 need atleast 2 to 3 hours of speed up.
Maybe as of now they are thinking 4 coach slip discontinued 4 days to VSG and 3 days to UBL so total 4 coaches * 7 days = 28 ICF coaches per week and replaced by 20 LHB coaches twice a week = 40 coaches.
