Its mentioned sideways collision....wondering how it might have happened ? All these days trains in SER were getting delayed with the reason being maintenance. Not sure what maintenance is being done !!!
Assets losses will be written off from reserve funds and will be adjusted in gross profits. But some bright people will still be criticizing these losses are due UR / sleeper classes and losses due to pension and salary , not due to derailments. But in reality we all are aware of safety in railways infrastructure presently.
Appears that the freight derailed while 12810 was approaching and it dashed into the derailed wagons.Railways need to work on designing well planned freight terminal and new wagons as most of freight derailment are due to wagon and wheel defects than p/way defects.
Very poor impression of the railway is getting projected.RM needs to take lessons from Piyush Goyal that how after Khatauli accident he controlled railway accidents.

As per news side collision happened. 1 freight train derail hua uske baad ye Express train derail hua hai..
