Sakthivel~ 2642 blog postsIs it possible for me to catch this train at Khandwa when i plan to travel in Karnataka express/Mysore Varanasi express from Bengaluru to Khandwa because we can get seats easily in SL in this train due to weekly nature compared to heavy WL having Sachkhand express. Please give your suggestions. Thanks 🙏

It's better to introduce a Biweekly from SC to New Delhi using the slot if it's free from ET instead of extention. It's alternate to Sachkand expres which is running from past 25years.
12421 should make biweeekly from secunderabad however it will cross delhi and connect punjab as well for telangana people
Extension is not desirable. A separate Tri weekly exp can be introduced between SC and ASR.

strange pic. usually platform 2 (Main platform on station) at NRW was usually used for DOWN (towrds delhi) trains but in the PIC it seems 12421 UP train towards Jakhal is standing on platform 2?

More than BTI, this Diversion was Required for FZR Connectivity with NED.

May be 2 reversals can be reason which affect.superfast status
This can't be the reason, Many Superfast trains with 2 Reversals. Something else.
