Mangalore Central-Shri Matha Vaishno Devi Katra Navyug Express one of India's longest train service should resume again. The train can run via Hassan,Ballary,Itarsi Jn and reach New Delhi then travel to SVDK. This train can run twice a week.

Very few chances that this train will resume since IR is getting rid of slip coaches system.

My suggestion is to resume this train from SVDK to TEN via KOTA, BRC, MAO, CBE. It will be beneficial for Jammu-Mumbai, Delhi-Inner tamil nadu passengers.

How can you say that Bengaluru deserves this train more than Mangalore? What if Mangaluru needs this train? There was train running between SBC and SVDK. You can ask to resume it. We people from Mangaluru will request either to run it via MAO or via HAS,BAY. It's our choice

Mangaluru (preferably via Hassan, Ballary like you have mentioned). Since Bengaluru is a much bigger city than Mangaluru still lacks connectivity to northern cities beyond Chandigarh.

Remember Goa also lacks proper connectivity to SVDK and Mumbai has only Swaraj express which is not even daily so even if they are going to reintroduce SVDK to TEN via konkan is best option.

1. डिब्रूगढ़ कन्याकुमारी विवेक एक्सप्रेस- भारतीय रेल के मुताबिक, ये ट्रेन भारत में सबसे लंबी दूरी तय करने वाली ट्रेनों में नंबर एक पर है। ये ट्रेन डिब्रूगढ़ से कन्याकुमारी के बीच 4247 किलोमीटर का सफर 82.50 घंटे में तय करती है। सफर के दौरान ये ट्रेन 57 स्टेशनों पर रुकती है।

2. कटरा-कन्याकुमारी हिमसागर एक्सप्रेस- ये भारत की दूसरी सबसे लंबी दूरी तय करने वाली ट्रेन है जिसके 3782 किमी लंबे सफर को तय करने में 71 घंटे 40 मिनट का समय लगता है। ये ट्रेन माता वैष्णो देवी कटरा से चलकर कन्याकुमारी पहुंचती है। 12 राज्यों के बीच से गुजरने वाली ये ट्रेन 75 रेलवे स्टे पर रुकती है।इसके अलावा भारत में किसी भी दूसरा ट्रेन के इतने स्टॉपेज नहीं हैं।

3. कटरा- मैंगलोर नवयुग एक्सप्रेस- ये भारत में तीसरी सबसे लंबी दूरी तय करने वाली ट्रेन है, जो जम्मू कश्मीर के कटरा से चलकर मैंगलोर पहुंचती है। इस दौरान ये ट्रेन 72 घंटे 50 मिनट में 3674 किमी की दूरी तय करती है। सफर के दौरान ये ट्रेन 12 राज्यों के 67 स्टेशन पर ठहरती है।

4. न्यू तिनसुकिया-बेंगलूरु सिटी एक्सप्रेस- ये चौथी सबसे लंबी दूरी चलने वाली ट्रेन है। ये ट्रेन असम के न्यू तिनसुकिया से चलकर 65 घंटे 55 मिनट में 3615 किमी दूरी तय कर बेंगलुरु पहुंचती है। इस दौरान ये ट्रेन 39 स्टेशनों पर रुकती है।

(5) 5. गुवाहाटी तिरुअनंतपुरम एक्सप्रेस- लंबी दूरी चलने वाली ट्रेनों में इसका स्थान पाँचवाँ है। असम के गुवाहाटी से केरल के त्रिवेंद्रम तक की यात्रा करती है। इस दौरान ये ट्रेन 64 घंटे 15 मिनट में 3552 किमी की दूरी तय करती है। अपने सफर में यह ट्रेन 50 स्टेशनों पर ठहरती है।

तो ये रही पाँच सबसे लंबी दूरी चलने वाली ट्रेन। जय हो ...
