Fulfils SF daily link between Mangalore and Navi Mumbai using the lie-over period of the rakes of 16159/60. Will be a better alternative to Netravati for Karnataka passengers and will also act as an extra intercity for Goa and Maharashtra passengers. Maintenance is being done at Chennai Egmore on a daily basis already thus only 1 more rake is needed to operate this.

Well, Netravati can arrive 10 minutes afterwards at MAJN, overtake doesn't happen then. This train obviously needs to run ahead and remain SF to be able to embark on its return leg. Therefore I am running this only up to Panvel and not Mumbai. Also this train needs some time to recoup at MAQ. Netravati's schedule is by no means disrupted in the Konkan section, neither does it overtake nor get overtaken by another train.

The MS-MAQ Exp is trolled by a handful of trains between SRR and MAQ. If you can acquiesce it with the slot of Parasuram (which overtakes it), then perhaps there's no need for this imaginary sibling to pursue reprisal on trains like Netravati.
There is a difference between overtake in SRR MAJN double line and TOKR ROHA line..
Sir, How much trains can run back to back.in konkan? That 19331 slot, this and again at the back nethravathi, Also ur train again overtakes that 19331 slot trains, also by considering crossings enroute only i m saying such a slot is really difficult. Also, ur train reaches PNVL by 14:00 and returning back by 15:00, but see already with similar concept that 12133/34 in MAJN, 12133 most of the days is delayed and 12134 most of the days never leaves MAJN on time and see, delay increases exponentially in konkan and reaches mumbai really late, thats why said to change slots sir..
Okay. But these are generic excuses which will be given for eternity and applicable to any slot, to reject requests for new daily trains even easily possible ones. The frequency of high-speed trains like TVC Rajdhani can be increased and another Rajdhani from MAO as well as Double decker, Tejas Exp etc. are being accommodated. MAO-TOKR line is not really saturated as ROHA-MAO line is, and even in the latter, situation of crossings becomes an issue mostly during the monsoon.
