comparison to beautiful landscapes, waterfall and forest that this region enshrines, the railway station is a failure and bare minimal facilities are available.
Passenger trains one overnight express and one daily day time passenger train has failed to cater the needs of swarms of tourists arriving here. cab/taxis are the bulk transporters here as trains remained cancelled between Jagdalpur and Kirandul around 3-4 months a year in total.
Best option is to alight at jagdalpur (all basic amenities like waiting hall, retiring room and connecting buses/taxis available there also its connected with Howrah, Vizag, Sambalpur and other cities.
