Meter Gauge Traction of Indian Railways is fast on the verge of extinction. These locomotives and carriages are abruptly the reminder of what Indian Railways was up until a couple of decades ago. Maybe this is what we can development, in the name of project uni-gauge, Indian Railways has decided to convert all existing Meter Gauge lines to Broad Guage, aiming at high speeds and better connectivity. Seen in this video is one such section, the MG section of North Eastern Railways (NER), from Pilibhit to Aishbagh. The YDM-4 #6761 hauled 15309/ Ruhelkhand Express Cruise Past The Beautiful Parsehra Mal Halt Station At Great Speed. The area was resplendent with greenery and the location is so beautiful that mere dictionary words can't describe the feel one gets while being there. Following up the first 2 parts of my trip to cover the Metre Gauge Network of Uttar Pradesh, this is my third and final part of my last year's trip. After a joyful 2 days of covering northern parts of the network from Izatnagar to Sitapur, it was time to cover some other places before calling it a wrap and moving ahead.
