Shatabdi Express in the daytime and on railway track but this Shatabdi as a sleeper bus rolling on the expressway from Kanpur to New Delhi. Just checked this bus and saw there are 50 services from Kanpur to New Delhi, 20 are good with 720 berth capacity. Demand for another night train from Kanpur is high. From Lucknow, there are around 50 reliable night buses. If IR focuses on VB short sectors of 500km and build more expressways in UP, night traffic will shift to roads. 5 years ago, the train was the go-to option but now, with Agra, Yamuna, and Purvachal expressways, road travel is popular from Kanpur, Lucknow, Gorakpur, and Eastern UP. With Prayag Merrut eway, cities will see bus services to Chandigarh and Haridwar in the future. IR needs to wake up and start new overnight trains on 500-800 km routes daily or lose out to road travel.

Shatabdi express din ke time mei intercity hai aur rail ke track par chalti hai, lekin yeh Shatabdi sleeper bus hai jo expressway par Kanpur se New Delhi tak chalti hai. Bas abhi is bus ke baare mein search kiya aur pata chala ki Kanpur se New Delhi tak 50 services hain, jismein se 20 reliable hain jinke paas 720 berth capacity hai aur demand hai ek aur raat ka train Kanpur se. Lucknow se kam se kam 50 reliable buses night mein available hain. Agar IR sirf VB par dhyan lagaye short sectors mei 500km ke toh UP mein expressway network ke vikas ke saath raat ka traffic road sector mein jaayega. Paanch saal pehle train hi reliable travel option tha lekin Agra, Yamuna aur Purvachal expressway ke khulne ke baad road sector badh gaya hai Kanpur, Lucknow, Gorakpur aur eastern UP ke paas, jo New Delhi ke nazdeek hai raat ko. Prayag Merrut expressway ke saath UP ke shahar Chandigarh aur Haridwar tak raat bhar ki bus services dekhne ko milegi future mein. IR ko ab to apni aankhein kholni chahiye aur naye overnight trains introduce karni chahiye 500-800 km par daily basis par nahi to road sector har jayega.
