Katra, Darshan Nagar, and Salarpur, to enhance passenger facilities. The budget also includes provisions for upgrading the rail lines connecting Ayodhya to Gorakhpur and Prayagraj. The entire Uttar Pradesh region will see a 1700% increase in the railway budget allocation, leading to the development of 157 Amrit stations and the construction of 1377 flyovers and underpasses in the last 10 years. The Ramghat Halt station near Ayodhya is also slated for development with the installation of German hangars and a planned doubling of the Mankapur-Ayodhya section.

A lot to unpack here, but here are some important points related to doubling of Barabanki Jaunpur rail section and development works at various stations!

↪️ Doubling work completed between Jaunpur and Barabanki except for 9km stretch between Akbarpur and Jafarganj (major bridge work).
