Present SL fare from Mumbai to Delhi on WR route is 615/- (Swaraj express).
If we consider it was 375 in 2003 then it's just 1.64x increase compare to rise 7x rise in per capita income.
And 3AC fare in same train on the route is 1610/- so a pax traveling in 2003 in SL class in now travels in 3AC would have to shelve out 4.29x more which is still lower then the rise in average per capita income over the same period.

Actually i have seen the era of 2000 when peoples used to travel in trains when they need comfort and ready to spend money.

those days fare of 200km for traveling by road was approx 60 Rupees and fare of Superfast trains was also same in General coach during those days.

So passengers even used to avoid travel by trains if they do not have money.

But actual point can't be ignored , you travelled all across India you better know that in which class there is rush .
By Forcing it can't be changed in few days we will see unreserved/WL/SL passenger sitting in 3 AC.

1.automatic door also can be installed in Non AC Coaches.
2.not easy task , automatic door can be used
3.why tough , engineer , employees are there for designing and working

Operator should be there for control
6.that's not vaild point AC ko railway wale cham ka kar rakhte hai baki me thang se safai nahi karte
7. Stone pelting is issue with all class , it should be stopped

At last there should be more AC Coaches i agrees , in my opinion railway should suspend SL Coach at change SL class to GN , this will make there decision minor statsfy .
CC should me
5 GN , 10 3AC , 3-4 2 AC , 1 1AC , 2SLR no SL should be there so unreserved and AC passenger travel safely
