(CMRS) to inspect the rolling stock and the track between Aarey Colony and Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to inaugurate the first phase. The line will connect the international and domestic airport terminals, Bandra Kurla Complex, Andheri East, MIDC, SEEPZ, and will have an interchange with Mumbai Metro 1 at Marol Naka, providing connectivity to western and eastern suburbs. Each train can carry 2,500 passengers and the system will serve 42,000 passengers per hour per direction.
