kam paisa mila hai, lekin Centre ne pehle wali UPA government ki tulna mein zyada paisa diya hai. Yeh paisa abhi chalu projects ko pura karne mein lagega, jaise station renovate karna aur nayi facilities jaise coaching depot, signalling system, aur MEMU shed banana. Sabari Railway Line, jiska Angamaly-Erumeli ya Chengannur-Pamba se connection hai, uske liye feasibility study karne ke baad decide kiya jaayega. Is saal 2500 nayi general coaches add honge, aur aagle do saalon mein 10,000 aur coaches banenge. Railways ne state government se development projects ke liye poora sahayog dene ka kaha hai.
