I think there is a notion that public transit is mostly used by poor folks and it has creeped into the minds of IT professionals and a guy coming in a car shows that they are sound or something.
Until the yellow line from Jayanagar to ECity and Blue KR Puram to Silk board is operationslised to public the woes of IT corridor in South Benguluru will not come down to some extent. The missing connection of purple line at KR Pura is less importance and will not solve as most employees reside along the ORR and travel to Whitefield, E City, Bannerghatta Road and Upto Hebbal on airport line which are developed after 2000.
