If this article is true, it is really disappointing.

A country which is known for its IT ; had State Railways IT in such old era.

Its the truth only .. our govt rarely emphasis the need for IT in their departments ..
Look at everywhere.. IT is having a lot of scope but in govt sector very less jobs .. and even the Eminent Exams like IES are not having IT as an option .

atleast outsource kar k de like Passport, India Post, etc. if Govt IT employees are not dere.

Yeah, I worked for America's leading Rail transportation IT platform in my previous project for platform upgrade.
So, if they can outsource then why cant IR?

india is IT sector but we all know indian bank servers which is not available almost 20-30% of the time... Technology is good but only when it has reach to all parts of country
