It's nothing like replacement, watch out slowly and steadily, all these ACIII tiers would be replaced by these economy ones without fares being rationalized.
** Fare increase in AC classes is counter productive as passengers prefer air travel by paying a little bit more.
** If IR replace 72 berthed standard ACIII coach by cramped and crowded 83 berthed ACIII economy coach, at same fares, IR shall only indirectly help the airline operators, as people shall be motivated to pay a extra and go by air. Thank GOD the Govt. is going slow on the implementation of UDAAN scheme of low fare air travel due to COVID-19.
