Watering at Salem junction station is a good move .And so most of the south bound trains are diverted in the shortest route of Namakkal and Karur .
Engine reversal also avoided in Erode jn since routed via Namakkal and saved 40 km running time
and Engine reversal 15 minutes .Economic operations are ensured. So expedite Mettur Piped Water supply project to Salem jn have to be expedited and the works may be awarded to the well experienced TWAD board for execution.
