Present CC is 22 coaches only. There are 2 HCPV coaches attached on daily basis. Just that they haven't mentioned in CC.
My point of view -
They should reduce HCPV coach to 1. or remove both & replace with AC coaches. Win win situation for both Sleeper & Ac travellers.

Isko 2 HCPV coaches attach karte hai daily, wo nikal dena chahiye aur Ac coaches mein Replacement kiya to aacha hai. Agar nahi hota to atleast HCPV reduce kare to 1 & 1 GS ko bhi Ac coach me replacement kare to fir bhi thik hai.

No special treatment to KA. Introduced only a Special Train duly cancelling one regular train + 2 Regular Slip links, MoSR ensuring just few corrections in KA Rail network that where long pending & hindrance to other trains as well. Vasco - Bangalore had daily train during MG times, which wasn't restored till now after Guage Conversion. With this special being introduced & if it gets good patronage, may result in restoring daily connection in Regular form.

Are bhai. wo to aisa chalta rahega. When Suresh Prabhu came, he concentrated more on always neglected Konkan Railways because of his nearness to Konkan area. Nothing wrong on doing few corrections in Neglected areas, that had to be done long back.

Remaining 95km is from Thokur to Bijoor in KA. This section doesn't have any tunnels, bit away from Critical Western Ghats & almost Plain. Only river bridges need to be built. But Approval is stil pending from Railway Board & Government.
Not only 1 loop line, but atleast other 3-4 new loop lines have been already commissioned in MH. To name few at - Vaibhawadi Road, Rajapur Road, Sawarda etc.

There is no news of Doubling in Goa. There will be need of major earthwork as land is mostly marshy & 2 major bridges needed to be constructed along with 2 tunnels. Also there is a issue of land acquisition. Locals oppose it. Out of new crossing stns planned as per news above, none are in Goa. Few years KR Planned 3 new stns between Madgaon - Pernem, but nothing has happen. Even a new crossing stn, south of Madgaon, work is slowly going on from last 4-5 years. There was plan to construct to bypass line from SWR line to KR Line at this stn, but locals opposed it.

Might be. Locals say Ecological disasters, Damage to ancestral & heritage buildings. There is also similar opposition for doubling of Majorda - Vasco route stretch of SWR, which is not taken yet.

Also if you search internet, you will find major opposition in Goa, during KR construction. They had dragged KR to Court & asked them to do changes in alignment - one being to run via Hinterlands, But eventually KR won the case & today it is where it is.

Is there enough space at Dabolim stn ? If yes, while Doubling SWR should seriously think of shifting MPT Main lines/Freight lines from Vasco stn. to Dabolim area. In that way additional Infrastructure for Passenger traffic can be utilised.
