This potential change affects the planned extension of the Delhi Metro Yellow Line from Millennium City Centre Gurugram to Cyber Hub, covering 28.5 kilometers. A separate proposal for expanding the line to the Sector 43/44 station of the Rapid Metro line has been shelved. GMRL has also returned a tender for a detailed design consultant (DDC) due to lack of qualified candidates. The DDC would have provided comprehensive design for the Metro system, including 27 stations. The project’s design cost is estimated at Rs 17.68 crore and is expected to be completed within 48 weeks.
