Miraj to Hubli doubling or electrification is not going to be any time near. Central Railways, SCR are fast in terms of executing any infra projects. SWR is slow and i would prefer MoSR to look entire karnataka as one and speed up work parallely across the state.

This is just approval, when it comes to reality will take 3 or 4 years to lay a 70+ kms of track. SWR is slower than IR in executing key projects.
Best example is Tumkur to Davangere falls in same concept reduction in travel time ...but what happened so far .....zero progress.

SWR is isolated each time, hardly any allocations or Electrical Depots. While all other zones are significantly moved with Electrification and has 2 or 3 depots, SWR is moving at snails pace. Probably when all other zones / states will be getting high speed locomotives, SWR will get WAP 7 and still be lagging. Step motherly treatment

This is nothing more than a wish list.
Current Rail infra is poor in Karnataka, doubling, electrification or new line construction are so slow that they themselves will take 5 yrs or more. This bullet train will not materialize in next 10 yrs
