BEML secured the contract for supplying 96 trainsets (6-car train sets) for the Mumbai Metro, valued at approximately Rs 4319 crores.

द्वारा डिज़ाइन, विकसित और निर्मित ये चालक रहित ट्रेन सेट, भारत में अपनी तरह के पहले ट्रेन सेट हैं। ये ट्रेनें, जिनमें 2,306 यात्रियों की क्षमता है, यात्री सुविधा, सुरक्षा और ऊर्जा दक्षता को ध्यान में रखते हुए डिज़ाइन की गई हैं, वैश्विक मानकों को पूरा करती हैं। बीईएमएल ने मुंबई मेट्रो के लिए 96 ट्रेन सेट (6-कार ट्रेन सेट) की आपूर्ति करने का अनुबंध प्राप्त किया है, जिसका मूल्य लगभग 4319 करोड़ रुपये है।
